Award Winning Child Photography, Falkirk, Scotland

July 27, 2013  •  3 Comments

In April i was delighted to find out i had recieved 7 Bronze awards with the Guild of Photographer. Here is a selection of the images i recieved awards for my child photography. As a mother i know how important child photography is and how it is essential to capture their true personalities when capturing an image.

This image was taken during a portrait session with the gorgeous Lucy, whose mum and gran had brought her into the Studio to get some gorgeous images of her. Lucy was a joy to photograph and lots of amazing images were captured. This was my favourite image of her session, I love the timeless and fun feel of the image, it is an image that won’t date due to any fancy Photoshop techniques so it will be able to be cherished over the generations. This image was awarded a Bronzw award with the Guild of Photographers as part of their Image of the Month Competition, which is an award difficult to achieve..

This image was taken during a surprise portrait session for a 60th Birthday present. Malia and Erika came along with their cousin Lacey to the studio to get some lovely images for their Gran’s 60th birthday, portraits make lovely presents because they can be cherished forever and handed down throughout generations. I love images of Lacey, with the nice relaxed expression, showing the beauty of the child in the image. There is nothing worse than having forced smiles and expressions within images as they don’t show the true character of the people. . This image achieved a Bronze bar with the Guild of Photographers in their Image of The Month Competition.

Looking for the ideal gift for a loved one or just to get some gorgeous images of your children/ family for yourself then get in touch at [email protected] and we can arrange a session for you.

Thanks

Nicole

Both are fantastic. They're as good as any Annie Leibovitz photograph.
