It's Macmillan's biggest fundraising event, people across the UK hold a coffee morning and raise money for people living with cancer. In 2013, 154,000 people signed up, raising a record £20 million. Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. And as treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. The money raised at the coffee morning will help make sure no one has to face cancer alone, from the moment they’re diagnosed, through treatment and beyond. Every year I like to raise money for a cancer charity after losing my gran in 2010 to this horrible disease, and this year I decided to host a Macmillan coffee morning.
Our Coffee Morning will be held at our photography studio in Falkirk on 4th October 2014 between 10-12, we will have lots of cakes, goodies and coffee available for you all with raffles and sweepstakes also taking place, it will be a fun filled morning for all the family. We are delighted that Absolutely Sweet, Bo'ness is going to be donating some scrummy cakes and treats for the event as I am not the best baker in the world.. Absolutely Sweet has a lovely shop in Bo'ness where you can purchase custom designed birthday cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, chessecakes and a whole host of other yummy home baking. I would recommend you all pop down for a visit
We would like to invite you all to our coffee morning to help us raise money for this worthwhile cause, If you have any home baking or raffle prizes you would like to donate to help us raise funds these will be greatly appreciated
If you cant make it there is still a way to donate... Any donations appreciated..
ps if you are attending please let us now on our fb event so we can have a rough idea of the numbers we need to cater for
